Practical Journey Mapping

Wednesday 7 March, 9:00 am - 3:00 pm

Martin Paul FFIA

Learn how to become an Experience Manager. To succeed in fundraising today we must craft and deliver tailored inspiring experiences that change the feelings and behaviour of our supporters. We are not fundraisers anymore but curators of extraordinary experiences.

This intense hands on interactive session will help you to:

  • Understand your supporters better
  • Identify and change the “moment that matters” in their journey
  • Influence their behaviour through nudges
  • Engage donors in meaningful dialogue
  • Track and act on feedback instantly, and
  • Create a truly supporter centric culture

Martin will bring real life examples from commercial best practice, not for profit experiments and behavioural economic theory. You will spend most of the masterclass working in groups to plot and improve common supporter experiences using a common methodology, in a collaborative and open environment.

Key Learning Outcomes:

  • How to create empathy based supporter journeys
  • Understanding and application of behavioural economics to influence supporter behaviour
  • Develop and use tools to gather and act on supporter feedback
  • Measurement of supporter experiences
  • Improve supporter engagement and lifetime value
