Collaboration for scale
Thursday 24 Feb 2022 - 8:00 am to 9:00 am
International humanitarian emergencies are increasing in frequency, scale and complexity, but the number of Australians giving to these emergencies has declined. More charities are competing for fewer donors, creating confusion and uncertainty for donors who want to help. Something had to change.
This is a story of 16 charities coming together to run centralised appeals for our largest humanitarian emergencies, raising more money for greater impact. Our members know that we are better together, and under a unified brand we can achieve our individual mission statements in new and bigger ways.
Join us to hear about the catalyst for change, and the process of bringing together a group of charities that are otherwise competing for donors and revenue
Our presentation will cover:
- How the collective action model works
- Accountability framework
- Risk management & compliance
- Building awareness of a brand from scratch
- Strategic partnerships
- Improving Supporter Experience
- Continuous improvement model
We will share a blueprint for sector collaboration that may help open up new conversations about other cause-based collaboration for greater impact.
