FIA’s mystery shopping and complaints handling programs provide insights into member compliance with the FIA Code and Practice Notes. The purpose of this session is to outline the most prominent concerns identified from monitoring the fundraising practices of FIA Members, and to discuss measures that can strengthen compliance with ethical standards and best practices in fundraising. It is crucial to ensure that currently high standards of practice in charitable fundraising are not undermined – because compromises or errors committed by just one charity could of course be to the lasting distress of all. This session will be presented by FIA Policy Advisor Jonathan Ande with FIA Organisational Member representatives.
