World Vision International’s global case study of activating Millennial donors to give

Friday 24 Feb 2023 - 2:20 pm to 3:20 pm

  • General Fundraiser (all fundraisers)

When the average donor age in Australia is 65, it’s no wonder charities are focused on trying to reach and acquire younger donors. Especially when Millennials account for 27% of the population and are fast becoming the world’s most important cohort for consumer spending growth. World Vision is best known for Child Sponsorship. But with the face of poverty changing, WVI needed a new giving product that could respond to increased instability and danger. And a fundraising proposition that connected with the next generation of donors who are more aware and passionate about these complex global issues.

Enter Childhood Rescue. Join Elisha (WVI, Senior Advisor of Product Development and Innovation) and Richenda (ntegrity CEO) and learn from global not-for-profit, World Vision International, on their approach to reaching and acquiring younger donors. From designing a human centered giving product for Millennials, to how they are rolling it out across their global offices, to using “unexpected” creative, pushing into channels like TikTok, YouTube and Instagram Stories/Reels, and leaning heavily into key “energy moments” across the year to drive action… These are just the tip of the iceberg that is this global, multi-country, multi-moment campaign.
