Alexis was born in Nice, in France’s French Riviera in the mid 80s. He moved to Australia at 25 for a PhD in Biochemistry at Sydney University, developing cancer vaccines. But instead, he started to work for a face to face and telemarketing fundraising agency and spent the next 8 years raising funds for over 25 different NGOs. Alexis favourite cause had always been related to protecting the environment, and whilst fundraising for the ACF, Bush Heritage or the Nature Conservancy, he learnt about the state of Australian forests and rivers and decided to focus his time and energy on protecting our precious environment. Greenpeace was the next logical move and Alexis started as Greenpeace Australia Pacific’s gifts in Wills Manager in September 2018.
