Karen joined the Great Barrier Reef Foundation team early 2019 to help raise funds to preserve and protect one of the 7 natural wonders of the world. Her experience includes developing high performing fundraising programs for Cancer Council Queensland and Children’s Hospital Foundation (Qld). She’s now drawing on over 15 years of fundraising knowledge and insight to build an individual giving portfolio that will provide global support and long-term sustainability for Reef restoration. Karen works alongside the FIA Code team to support our industry deliver best-practice professional fundraising.
