In this session I will share how Camp Quality approached our declining Tax Appeal program in 2023 to double the income from the previous year through a coordinated multi-channel approach.

As Camp Quality supports kids with cancer, we need to strike a balance between darkness/light and wanted to drill down to our core message – every child deserves a childhood with memories of having fun with their family, not one defined by chemo, hospitals, and isolation. 

Our Childhood. Not Cancerhood Campaign juxtaposed fun childhood activities with cancer treatment e.g., Camp. Not Chemo, Hula Hoops not Hospitals etc to highlight the fact that children miss out on so much due to Cancer and that Camp Quality helps to give them their childhoods back.  

A limited budget focused our energies and organisationally the campaign helped us break down some internal silos across teams.
