In 2023 Dataro collaborated with 6 Australian nonprofits in a new pilot study to understand if AI (machine learning) could help solve the challenges with P2P donor conversion. In this panel session, Dataro’s Ash Glover will share the early data insights and learnings to help nonprofits optimize their P2P activities and improve donor and fundraiser conversion. Fundraisers from two participating charities will share the results of their recent conversion experiments using the data insights from the pilot study and discuss their strategies for improving P2P conversion campaigns.

The session will cover the wins and learnings from the pilot plus best-practice tips for data collection, campaign timing and execution to help charities unlock the true impact of P2P giving. Dataro has helped hundreds of nonprofits leverage the power of AI in their fundraising since 2017. This session will also cover a brief introduction to machine learning (a subtype of AI), how it works to predict donor behaviour and what is required to produce models that accurately predict outcomes.
