James has been an industry leader in non-profit management and fundraising for over 15 years, having worked on some of Australia’s most dynamic and successful charity campaigns. His studies encompass a Bachelor of Commerce from the University of Melbourne, an MBA from Swinburne University and international fundraising accreditation through Certified Fund Raising Executive International (CFRE).
James has held a number of executive leadership positions across both the commercial and non-government sectors, including at global development organisation Save the Children and locally with Australian Prostate Cancer Research, Able Australia, The Stroke Association of Victoria and FightMND. James has also delivered marketing programs and campaigns for world-leading brands including: Plan International, Nissan, World Vision, Nike, Warner Brothers, Nissan, Manchester United FC and more.
Having moved into consulting in 2014, James now works with selected non-profit, health and community organisations to develop, deliver and execute fundraising programs. He lectures periodically at the William Angliss Institute on volunteer engagement and management, is a founder of the biannual CEO Forum for non-profit CEOs held in Melbourne and Sydney, is a regular speaker at fundraising conferences and is currently the Chairman of Fundraising Institute of Australia.
