Rochelle, currently the Individual Giving Manager at Breast Cancer Trials, has enjoyed a more than decade-long career in fundraising after making a switch from the early morning starts and print deadlines of radio and print journalism. Rochelle has worked at some of Australia’s most-loved and best-known charities, including Lifeline Australia, The Smith Family, Children’s Hospital Foundation, Ronald McDonald House Charities and Wesley Mission. In addition, Rochelle is a qualified counsellor having completed her Postgraduate Diploma through the Australian College of Applied Psychology (2021). Rochelle believes great fundraising comes from relentless optimism, excellent storytelling, pragmatic decision making, reach-for-the-stars ambition – and a lot of whiteboards.
