Dr Ruth Knight

Dr Ruth Knight is from QUT’s Australian Centre for Philanthropy and Nonprofit Studies. She is committed to addressing complex and challenging problems to ensure organisations create maximum social impact. Ruth’s passion for her work has been fuelled whilst working in the health and community services sector, and completing a PhD showing the impact of workplace culture on employee’s attitudes and behaviours.

Dr Ruth Knight has been examining the challenges and opportunities in building a culture of philanthropy within an organisation, and the impact this has on fundraising outcomes. Ruth will share insights and findings from her research and she will explore the question of how to measure culture and explain the application to organisational performance.
